If Bulgari managed to create a true floral classic with their Bulgari pour Femme by perfumer Sophia Grojsman in 1994, it was only natural that the two most prized flowers in perfumery, rose and jasmine, found themselves the highlight of two subsequent versions of the original. Bulgari Rose Essentielle is one of them, focused on rose and introduced in 2005. A tribute to the world's most prestigious flower - the rose-, the new Bulgari fragrance highlights the graceful Rose Prelude variation, foiled in blackberry and violet leaf for a natural feel as well as living mimosa notes and jasmine, to convey a pastel rendition of elegant femininity. The subtle touches of patchouli and smoky bois de Gaiac essence (from an exotic tree known as lignum vitae, i.e. tree of life) give just a hint of darker sensuality.
